A heavy-duty, professional acid-based wheel cleaner formulated specifically for chrome and wire wheels. Rapidly dissolves road film, brake dust, rust, and stubborn grime with a short 1–2 minute dwell time and a fast-rinse, non-foaming formula that drains off quickly to reduce rinse-cycle time. Body shop safe and VOC compliant when properly diluted. Intended solely for chrome-plated surfaces — do not use on aluminum, magnesium, plastic, or painted surfaces. How to use it?
Test in a small, inconspicuous area before cleaning the entire wheel. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Do not apply to aluminum, magnesium, plastic, or painted surfaces. Malco and its distributors make no warranty of fitness or suitability for any given wheel type — review the SDS for all safety precautions and required safety equipment before use.
Step 1: Dilute 1:1 up to 1:3. Product may be used at 1:1 with water for cleaning wheels with heavy or difficult contamination. Note: For California VOC Regulations, product must be diluted at 1:2 minimum with water.
Step 2: Rinse wheel thoroughly with water. Spray product on the surface and allow dwell time of no more than 1-2 minutes. Agitate with a brush if necessary to remove brake dust and corrosion.
Step 3: Rinse thoroughly with water.
Step 4: Neutralize product by spraying on #1911 Prizm Gold APC at 1:15 or #1229 Complete Wheel Cleaner (RTU).
